Enhanced Recovery Corporation Trying to collect a debt that's been paid off Jacksonville Florida

I would like to make it known by all that I have been contacted by Enhanced Recovery Corporation regarding a bad debt that they claim I still owe which was from a Nextel Wireless account from a year ago they demanded that I pay them in full today.

I told them that I could not that I didn't have the funds in my account they demanded that I write the damn check anyway, I said I will not as that is illegal in the state of California. The lady told me that she will notate the account that I am refusing to pay the balance in full, I told them a second time that I did not have the funds that a check will be sent out on June 1, 2008, that "I will not write a check for funds I do not have, you can get into real serious trouble doing that."

They were horrible to me I asked if I could get the address to send the payment on June 1 they replied "No You May Not Have The Address unless you're willing to pay us in full today, I asked to speak to a supervisor they replied you can not so I said "It is what it is."
