Lg Electronics Alltel defective phone San Diego California

I have a lg scoop phone that the screen broke by putting it in my coat pocket with a single life saver candy. Alltel will not give a new phone they saythe warranty is void because of the broken screen.L.G. pretty much said they dont belive me that the screen would break just because of a peice of candy in my pocket and tell me they will fix it for 100 bucks! Beware of these phones with only 1 screen on it I will never again buy a phone with the only screen ever again.how many others have had these kind of problems with not only lg but any phones out there I finally got ahold of corprate lg and they want to see the phone will update when i get a ansewer from L.G.

Your rant is against LG, not Alltel. Why post your complaint against the company that only sold the handset? Alltel does not repair them; LG does and they stated the warranty was void, not Alltel.
Post your gripes against the correct company, please

UPDATE lg asked for the phone back and after about 4 days they called me and said they didnt belive what i said about how the phone broke but in good standings will give me a new phone
