BEWARE! Nextel will take your envelope that contains your check/payment for your cell phone bill and NOT post it to your account and CAUSE you to be late on your payment. THEY WANT YOU TO BE LATE as this causes you to have more FEES and MORE MONEY FOR THEM! How do I know? I mailed my payment certified, return receipt (the green card that has to be signed). Today is the 12 and if they won't "post" my payment in two more days...I technically will be "late" on my payment!!!!
BEWARE!!!!
I believe they are forcing consumers to go paperless and use automatic draft/ credit cards. But this allows them to fool with your accounts and I don't want their hands in my cookie jar!
At least with paper checks I control it!

I have been a Nextel employee for 4 years and you are wrong in your assumption... everytime your payment is late, it is reported as outstanding debt... This drops the stock price, lowers the value of the company, and gives us less free cash flow to put up towers... trust me, we would rather you just pay your bill on time... you dont have to go total electronic as you can pay your bill over the phone with a check ....
the little 1.00 we get for a late payment is nothing, just pay your bill ontime ...
