THese poeple cannot get their caller ID's straight and they passthe buck to landlines and comcast, etc. I have been in contact with everyone and they put their customers in a postion to call sll these other companies to fix their problems. I have been fighting them for 2 plus years about this and get the same answer for all departments.
I will not do their work and solve their caller ID problem, which they don't even know what it is. All I know is the person on the caller ID is not the one that has been paying the bill.
They are incompeten and rude, given all their issues they are in no position to do this!
I have seen many of these issues all over the US. and unfortunaltely they all have the same cellular phone company's name. Very unfortunate!!
Here is another on T-mobile can chalk up in Chicago, Illinois.

I've reread it 3 times now, and through your incoherent rambling I have no idea what you are complaining about.
Does t-mobile not show up properly on your caller ID? When you call people are you not showing up on theirs properly? can you explain what is actually wrong with your caller ID?

I have seen this a lot lately.
Scam companies that Spoof their caller ID on your phone.
I don't know how its done, but I keep getting a scammer calling me trying to sell me a "Free" cruise.
Don't bug your phone company. Call the police, if you are in Canada call or fill out the on form at "phone busters".
Finally if you are going to call and raise a fuss with your phone company, tell them a scammer is illegally Spoofing the caller ID #.

- What does this mean?
Does this mean that you know the person that comes up on the Caller ID? Is this person the one who is the billing party responsible for the account? Or is this just some random person that you have never heard of in your entire life?

they are almost certainly being faked (spoofed) by the caller. They use software that sends whatever they program into it.
You are just annoying T-Mobile and making a fool of yourself pursuing this with them.
There is NOTHING they can do...it's NOT their problem.
I would guess this is what you meant, your Ripoff Report is not very clear...to say the least.
