Purchased two phones via phone from T-Mobile.  Was advised I qualified for a $50 rebate for each phone which cinched the deal.  I am now advised the purchase does not qualify for the rebate due to not subscribing to a $14.95 monthly texting package for each phone.  I do not need nor desire the texting package.

Can't back out now since I did not learn of the issue until the rebate was turned down.  Apparently there is fine print on the rebate form, which obviously is not available at the time of purchase (over the phone).

Customer service is only lip service.  A $50 credit per phone would have made me a very happy customer.  As it stands, I despise T-Mobile and their deceptive sales practices.  Once this contract is done, I am history.  And I'll make sure my friends and the company I work for understand this deceptive practice.
