Tracfone Wireless Poor customer service, poor system service RIPOFF Miami Florida

Ordered directly and received from Tracfone in late October (1) Motorola V60i tracfone. Contacted, via their 800 number, Tracfone customer service to set up my phone. When attempting talk with Tracfone customer service, the phone reception was real poor and the representative could not speak good English.
Several codes were entered into my phone which were suppose to provide service in my local calling area. This did not work! Several more calls were made to Tracfone.Each time I was given new codes to enter and each time I couldn't get a signal at my home. The Tracfone Rep finally made a determination that the phone was defective and ordered a replacement.
The second phone arrived but it was a reconditioned one instead of being brand new.Went through the same steps as stated in the previous paragraph. Still no signal at my home. If I went to one of two cell towers in my area, I could get a signal and was able to call out and receive calls. Again, the Tracfone Rep stated that the phone should work at my home and for the second time ordered a replacement.
Started tracking the shipment of the third phone and over the next few weeks was told that shipment couldn't be made do to problems at their warehouse in Fla. due to the most recent hurricane. I was told that eventually, I would get the replacement.
In Early Dec the third Phone was delivered. This time it was a brand new V60i. Once again several call to tracfone and many codes entered with the same results. No signal. I drove the cell tower that had a signal and attempted to set up my mail box following Tracfone instructions. That didn't work. I could call out but could not receive and this being right under the cell tower. For three days after Xmas I attempted to call Tracfone and each time I got the message Due to the overwhelming holiday busines my call could not be answered and to call bak at a later time.
Finally in disgust, I gave up and subscribed with a different provider. Withn two hours, I was operational and have good signal at my home.
I have since sent a letter to the Tracfone CEO expressing my displeasure with his company. I doubt that I will receive any reponse.

In my original compaint, I mentioned that I was going to contact the Tracfone CEO, which I did.
This moring I received a call from Tracfone informing me that they will be sending me a prepaid shipping envelope to return the phone to them for full credit. I also will be receiving credit for the 150 minutes I purchase and couldn't use.
Will updated again when everything is officially taken care of to my satifaction

As of this date 01/31/06, my complaint with Tracfone Wireless has been completely satified. In the mail today (1/31/06), I received a check for the full amount in question. I have no more problems with Tracfone. They satified my concerns completely!!!!!
