My husband and I purchased 4 cellular phones for our family along with the internet card. A deposit of $125 was required for each line making that a total of $625 deposit. We were in the store over 3 hrs getting everything set up. Once home we noticed we had no coverage so first thing the next morning we took everything back for a refund. They refunded the cost of the phones but not the deposit and said it would be mail to us within a few days.  A few days went by and no deposit. So my husband called and was told it was mailed. Waited a few more days and no deposit. So he called again and was told it would be put back on our debit card within 3 days. We waited another 3 days and nothing. He called yet again and they filled out a request for it to be expedited. The phones were purchased 10/16/09 and returned 10/17/09, as of today we still do not have the deposit refunded and are now being told we will not receive it until 11/17/09. We are tired of the run around with all the different stories and just want our deposit. It took less than 30 seconds for them to take the deposit off my card why can it not be replaced more quickly? I am so glad we are not taking their service. If anyone has a phone number where we could reach someone higher up than a customer service rep I would appreciate it.

Dispute the charge with your bank

Why don't you dispute the $625 charge with the bank that issued your debit card?
