I have a phone for virgin mobile usa. I suppose to recieve 400 minutes and 2000 nights and Weekends for 44.99. Come to find out that they charge you an extra 4.91 once you reach 390 of your anytime minutes. Now I now that isn't a lot of money, but it is the principle of the of it. If I am paying 45 dollars for a certain amount of minute I should be able to use all of those minute. Not be charge a just in case yougo over fee.

In response to your overage minutes that you are getting charged for, you must not have read your statements, price plan, or balance very well. Given that Virgin Mobile is a prepaid cell phone service their system assumes that you are going to go over your minutes and charges your overage minutes, which is generally $4.64 for 18 additional minutes.
If however, you do NOT use these minutes at the end of your billing cycle, they are automatically credited back to your account, or at least whatever is left of them.
Also, if you do not have enough of a balance to take the $4.64 left, your plan will still let you use all 400 anytime minutes that come with that plan and still allow you to use whatever anytime minutes that you have.
Hope this helps to explain your plan a little better.
