This school receives cash money for each student and when in Summer 2005 we went to the initial conference with the director and the teachers someone asked: "Is this school accredited?", Mr. Peak, the director lied and made everybody believe that the school was accredited.

If these guys had made it clear that the school is actually not accredited we wouldn't have sent our son to this school. Now he has lost one year of his live, he did not learn anything at this school. Since they don't have properly trained teachers and everything for them is about saving money, their "lessons" are as follows: "Sit down, read this book, selfstudy" Until the end of the schoolyear we never received any progress reports or evaluations written by a teacher. our son had to grade himself and the reports that he brought home were actually written by himself.

When we noticed that our son was wasting his time at this school, we took him out and went to our public High School, where they looked up the "Eagles Aerie School" on a list. The answer was: "Sorry, this school is not accredited, your son is not going to get any credits."

When we called the charterschool the answer was: "It does not matter if a school is accredited or not, that's why we don't mention this on our info brochure or on our website." To us it matters that our son lost one year. even if he had not changed the school and stayed at "Eagle's Aerie" until the end, his high school degree would be worthless.

We feel that this school cheated us and other parents on purpose because they know that only stupid parents would send their kids to a school that is not accredited. Since they need the money that the state pays for each single student they lie and misinform the parents.
