i bought a new home in 2008 and had to pay off my wife's debt. she had a number of unpaid accounts. i paid them all off but didn't check closely enough to ny financial as my credit report stated it was a civil claim judgement (with a duplicate judgement also filed with a id # missing 1 digit.)

i called mjrf and agreed to settle for 2772 instead of 3696.93. i've recently pursued another mortgage and found the debt was never reported paid to credit agencies. now i find that no debt existed, i've been taken for over 2k and still owed that amount according to experian.

not sure what steps to take next, my main priority is to be approved for my mortgage. if any can help please let me know. thanks, jeff............
