I am totally disgusted with our purchased of this Monarch Grand Vacation timeshare. I paid CASH for this! On several instances we have tried to book accommodations for Cabo Azul Resort for March 2012 since beginning of August 2011. The reservation desk told me there are no availability on those dates that I want. They put me on waiting list. I tried call the reservation desk few times to check availability......still hopeless. The only reservation we have been able to get has been for the Cancun resort.
We paid cash for the 133 points for every two years to use points. We pay $1037.44 every two years for the Assessment Dues. And it is horrible that we cannot enjoy resort when we want to.
Unfortunately we were not able to book Riviera Beach or Riviera Shores from April 2011 through Oct 2011. We will lost 71points which become expired end of Oct 31, 2011.
If a person were to go online to Travelocity, Hotels.com or other reservation booking sites a person could book reservations at Pacific Monarch resorts; why is it that a MEMBER cannot get a reservation? This Monarch Grand Vacation is totally Rip-Off their timeshare owners.
Big regret and the biggest mistake that we purchased this timeshare. I told myself hoping one day when I woke up this timeshare thing is just a bad dream. The customer service people are not helpful and all their mantra always is "the resort is completely full." I told the her that was a lie. We were there at Cabo Azul two years ago and it was hardly any one there. What kind of crap is this? Our $8500 down the drain!!!
I wish that enough of us could get together and file a class action law suit against these timeshare rip offs.
