I went to return some unwanted items at worst Las Vegas Wal-Mart. CS Lady acted very tired, saying "I'm so tired, I can hardly stand" and sighed aloud when she saw my returns. After some maltreatment, I asked to speak to store manager. Instead, a Loss Prevention Asst. Mgr. came. I took offense, as I had asked for manager, and Loss Prevention are for thieves...was this what was being implied? She stated many items were not bought there (ALL items were), and asked for an employee to come over and "Tell this man we do not carry these items!" Not do we, but employee, fearing for her job, hesitantly stated "no, um, no, we don't have those..um...items here." She was clearly lying.

I challenged them to go around and allow me to show them exactly where the items could be found. They refused. I asked for Mgr. again, and LP Witch said "If you want to get above me today, you have to call 1-800-WalMart!" undermining her Boss, the real manager. She wound up cancelling my return, although I had $175 coming back to me. I was demanding the money I had coming to me, pointing at the amount on the glass display, when my pinkie finger broke the machine.

I was accosted by one Giant, and ten minutes later a short, stout man came over, lifted his shirt, showed me a badge, and asked "any questions as to who I am?" I stated "yes, if you are a real police officer, you'll give me your name and badge number" to which he responded "No, we're not playing that game today. What we're gonna do is go back in this room THEY have back there, and figure out how much you owe these people." There were no security cameras in the backroom as required, and the guy threatened me with Jiu Jitsu.

I am a paraplegic, and said his sister ought to be able to beat my butt. This arguing went on for over two hours before I realized they had not called police, so I tried to, when the short goon broke my phone in half. Now I was scared...until then, I was in the safety of Sam Walton's dream store. Like in the Twilight Zone, I suddenly was transported to Bugsy Siegel's backroom at his old Casino. Three of the four large men attacked me, and I hit the guy with my pen in the neck-total reflex.

I had my head bashed in and EMTs responded, said since I had not had a hematoma burst yet in my head, I'd be stable until police arrived. The stout little goon took this time to show me the TWO EMPTY HOLES where the security cameras were supposed to be, but weren't. When the police came, it was like an old army buddy reunion. I knew more trouble was to come.

One group of three employees at a time, the one officer took them out, then brought one back from the earlier group to go back out with two new employees, seemingly getting their lies straight. At Pre-Trial, my attorney exploited their many lies, including the short goon's threatening me with Jiu Jitsu. By the time the real trial came about, my attorneys made it clear that not only was the Judge and D.A. in Wal-Mart's pockets, but they too were on the take. This was at 4p.m. on Friday before my Monday trial, no time to find a REAL attorney, though I tried all weekend. He did none of the discovery, even failing to get the 911 call info and the EMTs statements, and other crucial information to ensure my freedom he failed to get though I had demanded it of him.

I was sentenced to 48 months in prison by a judge who let a man who killed another off on probation for Burglary (first CS lady rang up planned purchase as if I were trying to return...I should have been thanked for showing W-M a security problem they had, instead I was going to Prison for getting my phone broken and my head bashed in. I was a very in demand public speaker, now I forget the simplest words) and Malicious Destruction of Public Property (remember the machine I accidentally broke....one that had a value of near zero due to being depreciated for many years....I asked my P.D. to get this info from the IRS, another failure to do discovery I requested)...you know, Malicious Destruction, like breaking a customer's phone in two?

My "Fast Track" appeal finally went through after a year of Cruel and Unusual Punishment at the hands of my captors who failed to meet their LEGAL Obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Constitution itself. In jail, waiting to go to court, I was told by my Fourth P.D. that I better plead guilty to a lesser charge or I'd be left in jail for months until they decided whether to press charges or not.

In jail, they did not have the medical equipment or supplies I required, same as in Prison, so my life was in danger, so I signed under extreme duress and danger of death. The paper said I was doing so of my own free will, but I signed my name followed by TDC, threat, duress, or coercion, which I was under. Still, I am now better off than the man they killed in Texas or others....google Wal-Mart Loss Prevention Excessive Force some time...read what the largest corporation does to We, the People just for kicks...and punches.

Not believeable...

AUTHOR: Robert - Irvine (U.S.A.)

This seems to at best an exagerated story with a lot of important detail left out, at worst a total fabrication.

But there is one very simple question. You of course had a receipt for the $175 in merchandise you were trying to return right?

Belief

AUTHOR: Ashley - Springfield (U.S.A.)

I don't believe anything in this story. If you want us to believe it's true then give us case numbers.

There's too many conflicting parts of this story.

if this is true, why didn't you go to the media? This sort of gross abuse of a handicapped person would have peaked the interest of every national news agency. I'm sure you will respond with a grand conspiracy of wal-mart owning the media too. Nevermind that the media LOVES to get wal-mart.

So, post us a case number and jurisdiction, and provide some proof or I would imagine no one here will believe your story.

This very hard to read story by a "very much in demand public speaker" is a load of crock.

Pity Party

AUTHOR: A.G. - (USA)

Looks like Illuminatus is looking for sympathy for her wrongs.  Why should a business refund "$175" for merchandise returned without a receipt.

You had your day in court to prove your side and you still loss.  Also, the judge and DA weren't in "Wal-Mart's pockets", they didn't believe you (and neither do we!).  Further, it looks like you're losing the the court of public opinion.

Wow!

AUTHOR: Tim - Grand Haven (U.S.A.)

Is this RipOff Reports or did I just watch a Steven Segal movie?

Midget-ninjas* smashing the heads of crippled motivational speakers in the back room of a Vegas Wal Mart!

Crooked cops and judges trading legal muscle for unbelievable prices on cheese and tires!

A pinky finger so powerful it can smash a cash register in one fell swoop!

Correctional facilities failing to meet their obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act!

They should adapt this story for one of those "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" commercials.

*Or is it ninja-midgets?
