As a longtime mystery shopper for numerous reputable companies, I am appalled that HARRIS RESEARCH (Logan, UT) continues to contract with the mystery shopping company: FRANCHISE COMPLIANCE (UT).
There are numerous reports from other nationwide mystery shoppers on the website:www.mysteryshoppingforum.com due to FRANCHISE COMPLAINCE refusal to pay (actually reimburse) shoppers for work contracted.
Although, I spoke with DeAnn Corbel last week as well as an e-mail from Adam Valdez , Pres. FRANCHISE COMPLIANCE, I am now entering my fourth month waiting for my reimbursement of $125. The carpet cleaning actually cost $130 due to the 'extras' (like 'Fuel Charge').
Adam Valdez stated, "The check got lost in the mail." He obviously thinks I am lacking ordinary quickness and keenness of mind (stupidity). Neither Ms. Corbell nor Mr. Valdez have ensured my payment is forthcoming. {Our records indicate a check was issued on
December 23, 2011, but that it hasn’t cleared the bank. What we’ll do is put a stop payment on that check and reissue another one. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. We obviously want you to be happy with the
work performed by Chem-Dry and our company. Let’s keep in contact until this is completely resolved. Sincerely, Adam Valdez, Pres. CEO/FRANCHISE COMPLIANCE
I fault HARRIS RESEARCH for continuing to employ/contract with FRANCHISE COMPLIANCE although FC is notoriously regarded as a less than honorable company. As I write this, there are more than 40 requests for mystery shoppers from GA, FL, CA, OK, TX to name a few.
A letter to Craig Donaldson, Pres/CEO - Harris Research/Logan, UT
Jesse Gibbs, Sales Executive, Harris Research/Logan UT
Brent Mortinson, Finance, Harris Research/Logan, UT is currently in the mail.
In addition, I will report to the UT Consumer Protection Dept. about both HARRIS RESEARCH and FRANCHISE COMPLIANCE. There are far too many rebutable MS companies operating honestly and fairly.
The next step is legal action. Ridiculous.
