International Duct Cleaning Dishonest, poor quality, unprofessional, rude, and total thiefs Skokie Illinois

I first came across International Duct Cleaning (IDC) in the Value Pak coupon mailer. I called the 800 number to inquire about their special prices and promotions. Their current special was unlimited vent cleaning for 99 dollars (1 furnace). They also advertised an additional 10% discount for pregnant mothers and seniors. When I asked the guy about the additional 10% off for seniors, he didn't want to give it to me but then after wheeling and dealing, he finally agreed to give me the 10% off at price of $90 (as they had advertised) I should have known then there was going to be a problem.

I also confirmed with the sales person on the phone that this included cold air returns, he said Yes, cold air return cleaning is included. I confirmed this with him on the phone for than once during the course of our conversation. What he failed to tell me and what I have come to learn is that their version of cleaning the cold air return is just vacuuming the outside register - that's it!!! What a RIP OFF!!

When the cleaners arrived, they had no idea on what price my order was settled on and they were going to charge me an additional $12 just to vacuum the register on the cold air return. I told him to leave and get out of my house and then he agreed to do it for no additional charge. So the people that came over to the house did not know or had no idea what the order was for and how much, they tried to wheel and deal to get more money when they are actually at your home on site.

Plus the cleaners were very greasy looking guys, very gross. I didn't even want them near my home. It was a very bad experience and I would NOT recommend this service to anyone.
