T & B Sales Bait and switch and a ruined door. Avalon Georgia

Two door to door salesman came to my door. I was expecting my sister, but was surprised to see two men. My dogs were barking like crazy, and my little granddaughter was getting into my front closet. I told them I was not interested, but one of them pulled out a spray bottle, and magically sprayed a bit of the brass on my door. Within a few seconds, the brass was gleaming. I was very impressed, as I have been trying to clean it to gleaming for years. I ended up writing a check for $37.00 to this company. Soon after they left, I tried to clean the rest of my door with this magical product, only to find out that there was no way to clean the brass with this product. I followed the instructions, and tried different dilutions, but it did nothing. I tried to email the company for further information, and never heard back. I stopped payment on my check, and left the bottle on the porch to return to the company. Today I got a call from a check company, trying to collect. I was told to call the company, which I did, only to be told that I should have read the back of the receipt for return info. I am so mad that I plan on doing whatever I need to do to stop them from ripping people off. They used something else in the bottle they used on my door. I have had to purchase several other brass cleaners to even the door out, and nothing is working. They must have been using some toxic chemical in their bottle- and the salesmen were not wearing gloves! I sent them a letter today- Think I'll hear back?
