United Carpet Care, United Carpet Ripoff switch and bait - adverstised 39.95 carpet cleaning on internet tried up sell for about 45 minutes, Internet

They came in looked at traffic area and said steam cleaning would do nothing. 

They wanted to do a test I told them to do a steam cleaning test.  They did what they called a deep cleaning test. 

I told them I wanted a steam clean they continued to tried to upsell to deep clean.

They finally did a what they called a steam clean.  They essentially spray the hot water and shampoo down on and did a single pass to take it up.

Anyone who has used this equipment or any carpet cleaning equipment know you have go over the same area at least two to three time if not more to get the shampoo water mixture up.

When I asked him about it.  He said do you want to tell me how to do my job, I've been doing it for 2 years.  

So I'm left with a wet carpet and not happy.

When it came time to pay.   The technician could not calculate the tax correctly.

He charge $40.00 not 39.95 and said tax was $5.00.  A total of $45.00.
 The tax rate in Las Vegas is 8.71 %.    Tax should be $3.48 for a total fo 43.43.

He finally said just give me $43 dollars.  He probably had no way to make proper change.

He also could get the pricing right in the discussion about the upsell.  He said for $29.00 more I would do deep cleaning on all 3 rooms.  He said for a total of $89.95.

Again could not follow what he was saying about the cost.

Disappoint, Left with wet carpet.
