Barth Wind Furs Elan Furs Sr. Citizen Ripoff Morton Grove, Illinois

In 2/09 my mother stored her furs (which she had done for a number of years). The coat was to be picked up by 2/8/10. In early January 2010, she took very ill and called Barth Wind from the hospital to let them know she could not get there to pick up the furs. She called them again from the rehab center and asked if they could please deliver the coats. They said no. (Let me state that they had no issue picking up the coats.) Yesterday, (3/4/10) she received a notice from them that they will repo the coats if she did not pick them up.  I went there to pick up the coats. They had the nerve to charge her an additional 1 year for the one month she was late. The owner, would not back out the 1 year fee. This cost my mother, a senior citizen that is on a fixed income $390! What a ripoff. The owner has no scruples. I have to admit, I went crazy on that owner. She is a horrible person. I hope they go out of business.
