I paid my credit card account in full in the local store and noted in the memo that it was paid in full. I have since recieved additional statements adding service charges and late fees to a paid off account. I wrote to the company and enclosed a copy of the cancelled check (both front and back )along with pieces of my cut up credit card. A copy was sent to 2 separate addresses in two different states and a few credit card pieces were in each. I am still constantly harrassed by people from Fashion Bug and they are now threatening to put a bad credit report on me. I also informed them when I got married and they never would update my account to show the name change. My huband talked to the last one that called and told them to stop calling or we may be doing the sueing.
