So many things use this type sweetner anymore, that you must have gone out of your way to pick out these two products.
I also have the K-cup system and purchase most cups from Green Mountain.
The chocolates are delicious and my doctor has told me (more than once) that the artificial sweetner you find so objectionable is probably the most thoroughly tested product on the planet and it is safe.
My wife is a chocoholic and I'm okay with it, but these products are fine with us. We have the K-cup adapter and have made our own hot chocolate from powdered and the Cafe Escapes and the Nestles are equally good....Get a life.
I have type 2 diabetes and could NOT stand the after taste of saccharin..it was very bitter. This new sweetener is VERY palatable to me...can't really tell the difference between it and sugar.
People like you (idiots) are one reason I'm happy to be out of the retail business and don't have to deal with every irrational customer that stumbles through the door. What a rant over a cup of hot chocolate.
If I were Green Mountain, I would stamp "Mr. Yuk" on your forehead.

Maybe the OP should learn to read the ingredient list if he is going to be such a wimp about it.

In that case, you wouldn't mind if I sprinkled some of the cyclamate I smuggled in from Canada in your hot chocolate, since it has no aftertaste whatsoever. By your "logic," all I would have to do is leave the Sugar Twin package somewhere in its vicinity and all is forgiven. I can tell from your response that you are a brainwashed conartistive, so that explains the "craporations have rights and people don't" attitude.

I have to tell you... this one is as funny as any of the ROR's I've read in the last month. To the OP, the saying, "the customer is always right," was and has always been a myth. If the customer were right every simgle time, a business would have to shut its doors. The reality is the customer has a choice. If the customer wishes to purchase a product, the customer must exercise their share of due diligence, and the ability to do that today is easier than in the 1960's.. If you are that sensitive about the types of chemicals you wish to put into your body, the amount of due diligence you need to exercise increases. You have the ability, you simply failed.
This is not a rip off. In the future, look more carefully, and save your receipts.

Like the other poster, I can see that you too are a member of the Gaping Orifice Party. I'm sure you check every label to make sure the product doesn't contain what you have for brains.

Besides, this has NOTHING to do with politics. How did you find out it contained Sucralose? I'd imagine from the ingredient list. While *I* usually do not read the ingredient list of something before I buy it, I also don't fly off the handle when I don't like something; I'll just chuck it.
I am starting to think you are just pulling our leg. Nobody who really gave a crap about what they ingest (not to mention cared about what their coffee tastes like) would drink these "coffee pods" anyway; they would buy organic whole-bean coffee and grind it right before brewing. If this is a troll, well done my man!
BTW, name calling ("Gaping Orifice Party", "SUCKralose," etc) is about as immature as it gets.

You must be extremely pleased with Obama's market-based non-solutions to market-caused problems. So you throw away things you were suckered into buying? I was raised better than that. Despite his voting for Tricky Dick to keep McGovern from ending the war and increasing social programs, my father knew better than to put up with something like this, and he taught me that anyone with principles can and will fight ****ty Hall.

And again, politics has nothing to do with this.
It *is* depressing that America's vocabulary has degraded to the point where the term "due diligence" is considered verbiage.
Anyway, I am sure that, with time, the hurt you have experienced will lessen from this tragic incident.
I put the chances that I am being trolled at 90%, but yet I cannot resist. This is a really good one. Then again, on this site there are so many absurd complaints it is often hard to tell.

Between you and the other dimwit who felt compelled to troll, it's difficult to decide which is the more absurd of the two. If you need to get your rocks off, go find a porn site.

This has NOTHING to do with the ingredients in the Hot Chocolate, that is just as they say a "Red Herring".
This is a case where the OP bought this Hot Chocolate at a store and probably didn't pay anywhere near FULL Price. This is why they don't want to go to the store, instead they want to be refunded the FULL Suggested Retail price. Where this extra money is just a plus for the OP. They even try to put in the silly claim of wasting gas to return it as a reason why he should be able to ship it to them. Because we all know that anyone who claims to be a 60's Radical probably doesn't even have a car. Or if they have a car it doesn't even run on fuel.
Then there is a question as to if he even bought it. After all he even admits he "MIGHT" have bought it.
Now, granted it is a lot of work for just a few dollars. So for their Return on Investment I give him about a 2, but for a 60's radical that is actually pretty good. As for creativity I give him about an 8

I should have known better than to rely on any recommendation found in the Republican's Digest, to whom I'll be writing at rd.com (another former gathering place for moronic trolls). The BBB complaint to Coke, which I thought had crashed their website, did go through, and in appreciation for my constructive, if snide, criticism, they're sending me coupons for 5 12-packs of any soda I choose.
Have a "nice" market-driven life, teabaggers. :P

I'm not even sure why I'm posting here, except to say that this is definitely one of the most hilarious posts I've read in a long time! Anyone who was a 60's rad is probably in his late 60's by now, so maybe we can chalk this up to the beginnings of dementia?

"You have no life outside of trolling. I'm 63, and I'm still programming for a living, know-it-all bimbo."
"Bimbo"? Seriously?? You can tell when people are losing an argument (think Chuckie :-)) because they resort to name calling that reveals the true nature of their thought process (or lack thereof).
I am not now, nor have I ever been, a bimbo. I'm 55, a working professional, and a responsible adult. I graduated summa cum laude from both my master's and doctoral programs. So "bimbo" isn't a word that's ever been used to describe me.
Right after I posted my last comment I was reminded by the ones about Keith Frieburg. The level of ridiculousness was pretty much the same.
And I don't "troll". I review ROR for things that might apply to me or that strike me as worth a good chuckle. Guess which one YOU are?

If someone is flaming you, that is not the same as a troll. A troll is someone, like the OP, who just tries to get people's goat. I'll give him credit - he sure got mine!
But to all other readers, note that this guy is not for real. He is just screwing with you.
