AFNI filed a fraudulant discrepancy on my credit report for a number in Washington DC. I have never lived in DC. They then send a settlement offer for a separate number for the same value, but this time the number was in Maryland. I have never lived in Maryland either. I have lived in Virginia for over 20 years with the same telephone number for over 18.

I called to rebut the claim, and as it appears with everyone else on this site, I was addressed rudely by an individual whom by all impressions had the intellect and personality of a cockroach.

I have since made a written formal demand for all pertinent information in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. They have 10 days to respond. If the fail to respond and withdraw the fraudulant claim, I will file a claim against them in Virginia for defamation and liable.

I am very surprised by the shear volume on this site, that no attorney has taken on these cases in a class action lawsuit.
