I received a letter from Javitch in July saying they now owned an old capital one credit card account.  I tried to work out a payment plan through a debt management program.  They returned all three attempted payments.  Then I received a letter from another company saying they owned the capital one account.  I made 10 inquiries to Javitch asking if they still owned this account and wanted to set up a payment plan.  They ignored me and never responded.  Now they have filed to garnish my wages.  I am meeting with an attorney next week to file bankruptcy.  If Javitch buys one of your debts, file bankruptcy ASAP, they will not work with you under any circumstances and will return any partial payment.
