Will –
My name is Karen and I am a corporate officer with Pioneer Services. I just came across your report submission posted today and wanted to get back to you immediately. While I’m still gathering information on your situation, I want to ensure you that our company and its associates our wholly committed to helping service members and military families with all of their financial services needs, and work to do so in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
We’ve been doing so for more than 20 years, and have served more than 1.4 million persons (more than ½ coming from referrals) so I must first apologize if you feel you were treated rudely.
From the e-mail string you posted, it appears that you are a number of months behind on loan payments, which you’ve indicated is the result of you switching banks in recent months.
While one of our customer services reps will be better suited in getting this situation resolved for you, I did want to provide you the allotment information you requested. This will allow you to set up an allotment to Pioneer Services with your new bank. I’d just ask that you e-mail back the confirmation page at the completion of the set-up.
I do, however, want to caution you that setting up a new allotment without resolving the payments you have indicated were not made doesn’t address the actual default on your account, it will just address payments going forward. Unless these missed payments can be addressed, your account will remain in its past due status, meaning it will be subject to late fees and interest per your contract. Over time, this type of thing could affect your credit score, and I presume that is why our representative didn’t simply want to provide allotment directions, without conveying to you the importance of trying to get caught up on any missed monthly payments.
Understanding your deployment status, there are several payment options that are available to help with this, including the following:
· Western Union Quick Collect
· Debit / Credit Card payments utilizing http://www.pioneerservices.com MyAccount access.
· EFT – Electronic Funds Transfer using your bank accounts routing number and account number.
I hope the allotment information assists you in getting that process set up. I would strongly encourage you to contact Sr. Manager, Stan Gomez to get these other issues resolved. I’m confident there is something we can do to assist you, and hope that you will take this opportunity we are providing to get these outstanding matters resolved.
Pioneer Services values you as a customer and appreciates your continued service and sacrifice.
Sincerely,
Karen
