Riddle & Associates is a junk debt buyer that picks up old debts they collect from the credit bureaus. Currently they work with TransUnion I know for sure.
They buy junk old debts, most of which are bogus, already paid, never existed, in the name of someone else, etc.

Some folks they harrass with calls and letters. They claim to be attorneys, the people who answer the phone are all "paralegals". The attorney is NEVER available, always in court. They are a scam! Other folks get bullied into paying them because they pull their credit with a hard inquiry, thus lowering their credit scores and they pay them off just to get rid of them. This is how they make so much money.

Do a google search for Riddle and Associates, West Virginia
See how much money they had to pay back when the Attorney General in WV finally took some action!

They are SCAMMERS. BEWARE!

I've dealt with "Riddle" before. Every word of what you said was true and actual. They are not attorneys in any way, they only have an attorney by name that they pay money to use that name.

I've dealt with, and won against such companies as this, and have even started my own service that helps people get rid of these agencies for good. NO ONE, under any means needs to EVER work with a collection agency, period. Their days are numbered.
