Telecheck - Telecheck Services - TRS Recovery Services - First Data - Shared Global TRS Recovery Services Deceptive Practices and ripping people off with fees! Houston Texas

First Data aka TRS Recovery Services is charging $11.00 for using a credit card by phone but will take the original amount by mail. They threaten that if you pay by mail, which they give you an option to do by credit card at no additional cost, that they cannot guarantee that it will not show up on my credit report.

This is deceptive because It states on the letter that I have 30 days to respond to the letter, before any further action will be taken. What makes even more unusual is, I attempted to pay the original creditor CVS pharmacy within a week of charge.

CVS Pharmacy told me they cannot accept payment and had to wait for a letter with my bill. I got that letter and it turned out to be a collection from First Data or TRS Recovery Services aka telecheck. Basically I tried to pay well within a reasonable time frame, but forced to wait for it to go to collections. They are almost forcing people to damage their credit rating, while the consumer is making a timely, good faith effort to Resolve!
