I have been contacted by AFNI for a verizon bill - 3 different bills...one address.  I contacted verizon- they have no idea..it is now on my credit report. The suspect thing about this is I am getting calls from other credit agencies too...anyone heard of CBCS.....same account numbers.

My husband paid them in 2009....I paid the other company 3 weeks ago...

now we are still getting calls for MORE money.  I didn't settle for a smaller amount- i paid 160 that they said was due for verizon services years ago.  I told them my husband paid - they said they would send a receipt for what i was paying...they did.  The calls started again...i now owe over $500 in verizon charges - my phone number....and now I owe a Tmobile bill....Never had tmobile - won't pay. Checked my credit report - they are on their....HELP!  

I am all for paying what WE owe....not what i am being charged for!
