I received several calls from them saying "You owe us a lot of money!" SHe was very angry and rude. She tried to intimidate me into verifying my ss# and giving them money for a debt they claim I owe from 13 years ago.

I know all about scavenger debt collecting and know that they have no right to make harrassing calls. The problem is that many do not report it and they do not have to take responsibility for thei illegal actions.

If you get a call from them, do not verify your SS number and do not discuss the debt. Simply ask for their address.

I was in a playful mood when I got the last call, so I just kept asking the lady questions.

Do you like your job?
Why can't you find a job where you can be pleasant?
Are you disabled?
Do you have any kids?
Do you think that the reason you have no kids has something to do with your anger problem?
Have you seen a doctor about your anger?
Were you abused as a child?

She got sooo frustrated, she put her "angry black man" manager on the line. He wouldn't play, so he ended up hanging up on me.

Just get their address and write them a letter requesting that they contact you in writing only. Do not sign the letter and make sure you send it Return Receipt Requested.
