I was a victim of Calvary Portfolio Services, they ruined my credit claiming that owed money for a phone bill that was 8 years old from PacBell. I tried everything, disputes, FTC Attorney General, ...etc Nothing worked, these are all a waste of time and all you will get is an automated response.
Finally, I decided to escalate, I dragged them to court. I found an attorney, sued them in Federal Court, told them that I will cost them in attorney fees 20 times what they claim I owe them and that I will never pay them. They ended up settling with me, took the debt off my credit report, paid for my attorney fees and paid me personally a nice chunk of change for my inconvenience.
Please find a consumer debt attorney and sue them. That is the only way you will get out of this. They will never let it get to court because with Attorney fees @ $300 an hour, it is not worth it for them.
Thanks
