I have found out the columbus BBB has well with other better business bureaus, they lie to, they give good ratings to bad business who do not deserve it. This is misleading the public.

When a new custormer does business with the company they do not know about there past so they become a new victim, so don't believe what the BBB reports. I know the BBB can't force the company to do the right thing.

But the BBB doesn't have to post a good rating which the bad business does not deserve. This is misleading consumers which the BBB doesn't care about, these is how these crooks in in the united states continue because the law doesn't do anything or they wait to get 1 million complaints.

Before they will do anything, there have to be 1 million victims before the law takes agaisnt this isn't right.

The BBB is a scam.

The BBB has no legal authority to do anything for you. They are a "for profit" business.

If you are not a dues paying member, you will most likely get a bad rating.

It is extortion.

The BBB should be avoided, especially in collections matters.

Cobra doesn't even pay there bills yet they harass & threaten & bully people to pay theres. People who have done business with corba ain't happy with them either.

One person was a landlord & cobra failed to pay there rent so they found a new place to harass people, & from another source cobra doesn't give the business they collect there money.

The bbb even has It reported, I am kinda of shocked that the columbus BBB would report something negative about a local business sense they give good ratings to bad businesses which they don't deserve.

The BBB Is suppose to help consumers not businesses or report false information on there record to mislead the public.

The Federal Trade Commission - NOT THE BBB - BBB CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

www.ftc.gov Read the FDCPA law and how it protects you the consumer from these bottomfeeders.

File complaints with the FTC as well.

This Is just plain abuse what people are doing to me on rip-off report. They disrespect then they think I should be nice to them.

They are the ones who are mentally abusing me & I do not have to take It. They don't like It cause I expose these scumlords & other bad business who try to ruin my life.

It also mental abuse from the business. People have alot to worry about today yet we have to put up with more abuse from these bad businesses.

The they say we are a nation of victims, even though they have caused the problems.

Ladies and Gentlemen please take a moment to read the following update on Janice Collins Ligon Ledden! 

Janice Ledden now resides in Alaska, is remarried and the person she married has children.  Now I am getting and giving this information from a personal stand point.  I am now living the nightmare she created for her own children and her husband at the time, Paul Ligon.  Why am I having to deal with her scheming ways?  I have fallen in love with her ex-husband and we are now engaged.  I am her to testify to the fact that Joseph Paul Ligon and Janice's children NEVER had anything to do with her stealing from so o many innocent hard working people.  Her children have married and moved away from Columbus, GA because they cannot live in their own hometown due to their mother's actions.  They are embarrassed and that is a terrible thing for ANY mother to do to their children. 
Joseph Ligon(aka Paul) is now my fiance' and for the first three years of our relationship I have had to see him live a nightmare due to Janice Ledden's selfish evil ways.  Paul has been paying back the Federal and State Government for over 8 years now.  WHY?  Because his name came first on the tax returns and he has always held down a job! Unlike the above named who runs all over the country so the Government won't spend the resources to make her pay her debts.  We even had to pay off her half of the tax agreement in their divorce from 8 years ago, WITH INTEREST just so that we could purchase a home of our own. 
If you are wondering why I am sharing this with you it is simply to testify on behalf of this woman's biological children and my fiance'.  I have had to pay out of my pocket as well for something an evil person did years before I ever came along all in the name of love. 
Paul and I have paid off ALL the tax debts and purchased our home!!  He does not have to look over his shoulder any more worrying about the hell that JANICE COLLINS created for him when all he was ever trying to do was raise the children he fell in love with.  He lost contact with them but I have resolved that situation as well.  I am proud to say now that I have three new children and four new grand children in my life!!!  They are not Paul's biological children but he married Janice when the kids were young and raised them as his own until they were teenagers.  He took care of them while Janice spent 18 months in jail.
NOW I ASK YOU, is it fair that all she had to do was 18 months in jail and Paul had to spend 10 years and 80,000.00 repaying the taxes on the money she stole that he never even knew about?  Just because his name came first on the tax returns!!!  No it's not.  Can we sue her?  Yes we can but to sum it up, she works for attorneys in Alaska, GO FIGURE and you can't get blood out of a turnip.
Our recourse?  Get married be happy and my husband NEVER has to look over his shoulder again!!! 
I saw a blog about her daughter, Virginia Emfinger and how she worked for her mother.  Virginia was a pre-teen at the time and she had no knowledge of what her mother was doing to people.  She has grown into a responsible, moral young lady who has had to bare the shame her mother created.  Her twin and her brother have had to as well.
The blog is titled Cobra Collections but we need to give Janice credit where credit is due so let us remit our comments in her name and not the company name.  If you do a search on the Internet with all her names you will find some very interesting information.  There is even a news report in regards to her and what she did to the hard working folks of Columbus,GA.
So this is a special gift to Janice Collins Ligon Ledden!  You are not a Ligon and you cannot shame the Ligon name any longer!!!  I will continue to tell everyone I can about the sorry person that you are, how you hurt so many people until the day you pay my husband $80,000.00.   Which I expect to be never, so always expect the unexpected, the TRUTH is right around the corner and the past is always right behind you staring you down!!!

Janice does not work for any attorneys in Fairbanks. It is my understanding that she stole THOUSANDS of dollars out of the paychecks of the employees and her "collections" for the last firm...he eventually retired and she lost her job.

This woman should be sued for everything she has! Although she hasn't filed her tax returns in MANY years - she is still receiving Permanent Fund Dividends --- you can take those!

Her children didn't move away to get out of the city in Georgia - they moved because they both married military. They are closer than ever to their mother. Janice is crazy. She is always popping pills and every other day, something else is wrong with her. When documents started to come up missing or the accounts couldn't be balanced, she broke a leg, or came down with cancer. She even faked a "stroke" in the office - wigging out and playing stupid.

Georgia wont extradite her - we tried.

Stay away from her. She will take you for everything you have.

I believe her children are innocent bystanders...but they are obviously supportive of her lifestyle, considering they still have constant contact with this theif. Virginia might be innocent - but she is putting herself and her newly adopted children's lives too close to criminal behavior for comfort. They should remove themselves from that family immediately.

The state of georgia is just as guilty to protect this crook. Justice will never be served for the victims janice & brook from cobra collection. The state of georgia are nothing but crooks.
