First Federal Credit Control Will not back up offers in writing and apparantely actions Cleveland Ohio

After contacting FFCC in regards to an account they have listed on my credit report, I had asked for a pay-for-delete offer from them without any type of settlement amount. I asked to have this offer in writing before making the payment (in full). The rep would only respond with "You will just have to take my word on it." They refuse to send me anything on this offer in writing or sign any type of agreement I have offered to send them. I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor would only give me her first name, ask if I was going to make payment (yes or no answer only accepted), refused to spell her first name or provide her last name. A little more research and I have found that this company does not always follow through with their word based on other forums where consumers are filing compaints of this same company (which is apparently why they will not back up any offers in writing now).

Any business you do with this company, insure you have in writing before you do anything further.
