HK Craig and Associates Drivers License Suspended Car Accident Insurance didn't pay took money harassing Sarasota, Florida

My nightmare with this company started in September of 2011. My ex mother in law was frantically calling me one day while I was at work. I answered and she said that a company sounding like HH Gregg called her home and said my drivers license was going to be suspended by 6:00pm if I didn't pay for the remaining balance following an accident I had. She said that she told them that the details of the call were not her concern....they said "well you sure wouldn't want her to not be able to drive and then have to pay more money to get her license back now would you"  She gave them my phone number.

They called me and had every bit of information regarding an accident I had in 2004....yes, 2004. The make and model of mine and the other drivers....my ssn , my dl number. They claimed that there was 900.00 or so left that no one had paid and that they had been trying to get a hold of me for quite a while.  I told them I had received nothing about this and I had great insurance and it made no sense for there to be a balance.  I was in a rush to a meeting, and they kept bringing it home that my license would be suspended. I only agreed to 125.00 , and then 50.00 a month. He said they would "try" to make that work, had me record myself stating who I was and the arrangements made.   I hung up the phone and went on with my business. 

That night I was googling and I wanted to find this company and try to get some info. That was when I saw all of the people all over the country that were getting the same line, the same amount, same threats....all for nothing because it was a scam. 

This company has been so desperate that I have received phone calls ..to the same phone number....for different individuals....there is no debt...they obviously buy accident reports or something.  They call about 5 times a day.
