About 3 1/2 years ago I had gotten in over my head with my MBNA Credit Card, high interest, over the limit and late payments ran my monthly payments up so high it was difficult to pay, of course the account was turned over to Cambece Law Firm.

Yes they called me several times, including on my job. I agreed to pay them a monthly fee, which I have for 3 1/2 years, according to them, I owe just as much money today as I did 4 years ago, I am devastated.

I have paid them over 4,000 dollars.How can a credit card company put on your credit history-- a charge off and then the law firm charge you interest on a bill that had interest already included when they turned it over to a lawyer. Helpful responses are appreciated.
