Ok i went default on a emerge mastercard 6/07 when i went default cause i got cut hours at work and just have had a bad run of luck. the amount due was about 4500$.I got a notice to appear in court yesterday emerge who i guess sold the account to midland funding llc who in turn is using a lawer to sue for 5666.63 adding more intrest to it.

On the summons there is no contact info for midland or adress info.Ive had contact with them before about a payment plan but they were absurdly rude and demanded full payment.IM not sure what to do here cause i cant afford a lawer and there is no info for midland on the summons.

I have also received a summons stating I am being sued by Midland Funding. I have done some research and here is some contact information I have found. I am mailing a return receipt certified letter to the attorney that is representing Midland Funding. The suit does not state who the creditor is. I am requesting information on the original debtor, copies of all documents referring to the debt, anything I have signed stating I am responsible for the debt, account history including payments I have made, and an itemization of charges I allegedly incurred.
