Back in 2005, I had a medical bill of $152.00 that was paid, but for some reason the payment and the transfer to collection crossed.  The account has been paid.  For the last 5 years, I have been trying to get this removed from my credit report with Experian and Transunion but have been unsuccessful.  I am told by the credit bureau that ORD&D have to remove it.  ORD&D are telling me they "don't" remove it , they can only show it as paid, even though it was paid with days before reaching there office.  This is bullshit.  What is wrong with these people?  First it took me 2 years to have them show it as being paid, now I have to fight to get it off.

This is a medical bill, so I do not believe that first of all this can be listed on my report.  I have snet a Letter to the FCA with the name and address of ORD&D, and hopefully they can step in and stop this agency from screwing people over.

I can't believe this lady - " I can't do anything about it. I can only show it as paid."  This bill is 5 years old and has been paid for since 2005.  Even after tell her I was wrinting to the FCA , she was like have a nice day.  What good communication there.
I read in a different posting that their representatives are training, trained in what screwing people over because they are doing an excellent job.

This posting is simply an attempt to slander the
reputation of our law firm.  Not to mention that our firm abides and fully complies with
federal and state collection laws and privacy regulations.  I am
confident the consumer's story is one-sided by a disgruntled individual.

Regardless, our representatives are fully trained and can be reached at
(518) 383-4876 or 888 708-5088. A representative can assist with any
questions to the account or a concern.

#2 Consumer Comment

the credit report is designed to show what actually occured

AUTHOR: Cat - Hendersonville (U.S.A.)

So the bill  you sent out somehow criss crossed, though a bit late and is paid. It is showing as paid, so the credit report is doing their job. Eventually around the  yr mark it will drop off because it has been paid. If this is your only bill that has a clould on your cr then your'e fine.( Stay away from cc debt! )

The ones that come off are the ones that are inaccurrate......say a bill was paid ontime yet is showing up as unpaid. Well that is inaccurrate. You then tell the reporting agency they have 30 days to remove it since it is inaccurate.

Also, I've had 49 surgeries, the last one two weeks ago. So, if is simply NOT true that they can't have medical bills on one's credit report!
