I need help. I recently received a letter from a company called Consumer First Consultants, Inc. advising me that they were researching court house files and came across a summons with my name as the defendant. They state in their letter that the company filing the lawsuit is Palisades Collection, LLC. I've never heard of this company and have absolutely no clue who this company represents. I am not able to find an address or phone for this Palisades company.

After reading the reports on this website, I am beginning to suspect that this may be some sort of scam. I called the consulting company that sent me the letter and they told me that they have no other information except what they put on the letter. I am very concerned.

If anyone has a case similar to mine, please post a response and let me know.
