Back in 2004, after running a credit check, I found that there was an outstanding debt from AT&T that Palisades Collection/RPN/NCO was trying to collect. I was in the process of purchasing a home and was advised by my lender to take care of the debt. I sent a check to NCO Financial and received a letter back from them stating the debt was paid in full.

Palisades Collection LLC is still showing that the account is open. I have attempted to resolve this issue for the past 4 years but they keep giving me phone numbers for different "servicing" companies - all associated with Palisades Collection. There is no end to the run-around I am getting.

How is this bogus company getting away with this?? How do you fight a company that has numerous names and varioius addresses? My next step will be to file a report with www.ftc.gov.
