Rephen Law Firm trying to collect debt but refusing to send me information about the debt New York New York

I received a call today from "Mrs. London" telling me that a debt has been turned over to the Rephen Law Firm and that I owe them $190.00. I asked what this is for and she told me that is was for a returned check for 40.00 and the returned check fee of 60.00. I advised her that I spoke to Global Payments on 9/20/08 and advised them that I would send the payment of 70.00 on 10/10 because that is the amount that was on the letter that they sent me. 40.00 + 30.00 for the fee. I have no problem paying because it was an error on my part as to why the check came back NSF. So where is Rephen Law Firm coming up with 190.00??? Mrs. London advised me that it is for fees. OK, so I asked her to send me something in writing and she told me that they can't send anything in writing out to me because of the cost.

I guess my question to anyone who knows is, do I have a right to have this in writing with a break down of these "fees" before I send them any money?

It sounds fishy and the fact that she wanted me to send her the money via Money Gram on Westen Union. Which I told her NO!!
