I went to this school in May 2007 and I attended for one semester. I took 3 sophomore level classes and took out a loan to pay for them. I sign an initial loan application for $6000. Like I said before I only took 3 classes and I don't believe I used up all $6000 for pay for the classes. I never got a statement from the school outlining how much I spent on that semester. I am getting bills from the Sallie Mae saying that I still $6000. The school told me that if I didn't use the entire loan amount they would return it to the loan company. I don't believe they actually did that because Sallie Mae is charging me the entire loan.

My best friend that I have known for 13 years went to ITT Tech in Norfolk, VA. He attended school, and actually stayed long enough to get a Bachelor's degree. He was ALSO ripped off. The credits are NON TRANSFERRABLE. They charge you for a degree, not the classes you took. And their degrees don't mean SQUAT in the real world. He JUST got a job working with digital cameras because it was a great opportunity for him, not because of his degree. What is more shady is if they can't find you a job in 6 months, they lie for their records and say you are working in your degree field. This is what keeps their numbers so high. When my cousin came to me asking about colleges this year, I only told her this "stay away from 2: University of Phoenix and ITT Tech"
