National College of Business & Technology sold me to attend their college. I was told that the HIT program was accredited and come to find out they are trying to get the HIT program accredited in October 2008, because it failed the first time. Now I have almost $26,000.00 in a Associates applied to science degree and can not find a job. I received a phone call saying that I will have to take a Pharmacy Tech Diploma program in order to get a job now. What is up with this? More money to go back to college at $278.00 a credit hour to sit at home on the couch watching tv. I will have to start paying back the loan in February 2009 and actually really don't get to graduate until May 31, 2009. What a huge ripoff I got.

I don't think the whole story is being told here

I currently attend National College, and I have absolutely no complaints about them. They ARE fully accredited, and they treat their students with the respect they deserve. Now why would someone go and do something like put a ripoff report on this site about a perfectly legit company?

My suggestion to this person, Talk to Mr. Shankin before running off to the computer to damage their reputation. If you are truely a former student, you know who Mr. Shankin is.

National College has been around for a long time. I'm pretty sure that if they were truely un accredited, they would have been shut down by now. Also, they are BBB accredited and are in perfect standing with the BBB.

Get your facts straight before you attempt to damage another good College's Reputation. We need more colleges like National College in this economic downturn.
