*UPDATE by author: Written correspondence due to confusion

I went to the facebook site for SallieMae student and parent plus loan programs.
Sarah kept insisting that I provide a telephone number for a specialist to look at my account, even though I explained that I am disabled, hearing and speech impaired, read lips to maintain normal conversation range face-to-face, and I still have not heard a response from anyone in writing.
I am on social security disability, have medicare insurance taken out leaving me with a total of $484.00 per month since the government keeps the change over $600.00 per month in my benefits.
Department of Education uses Sallie Mae to provide payment services. No one is willing to accept my social security disability assessment for discharge of my parent plus loans.
The payments are increasing as Sallie Mae adds additional interest charges for the long-term unemployment deferment. All this does is add to the problem, since the payment plan has jumped up $75.00 per month during the deferment for "long-term unemployment".
I'm trying to resolve the problem, however, no one is willing at Sallie Mae.

- Since you are disabled, it would seem that you would have a TDD for when you need to use the phone on a daily basis. So why not call them through that?

All correspondence needs to be in writing with Sallie Mae due to the confusion of words, and no, I do not have a TDD, due to the expensive costs of maintaining a written conversation through this method. It is $0.11 a minute for all communication.
I use text messaging, computer email, snail mail, and face-to-face for the majority of my communication.
