University of Phoenix Career change students have NO CHANCE of finding a job without an internship internet, Texas

Why does the Univeristy of Phoenix accept students into a degree of study that do not have on hands experience in the field and not offer internships to those students?   I owe $41k in student loans from the University of Phoenix and can’t even find a job to pay them back. I am at a DEAD END! How would you feel if you spent $41k on education and were turned down by every employer because “higher education wasn’t good enough”? I graduated with my B.S.I.T. in 2008 and I have had to take jobs that paid minimum wage out of my field of study since I graduated because I do not have the “on hands experience” the position was asking for. I have sent out countless volunteer resumes to work for free in order to get on hands experience and cannot even get hired that way. Am I going to have to pay someone for on hands experience? What good is higher education? I regret ever attending the University of Phoenix college because they cannot and do not offer on hands experience. Why did they not tell me all this before they took my money (that I still owe)

I have contacted the local college here and with more money and more education, they are offering to find an internship for me and will not accept me into their college until I have a job "in my field of study"

Do not attend UOP if you do not have the on hands experience or an internship set up.. It will be a waste of time and money!!!!

UOP needs to ask what job you are doing NOW and find a field of study in that job description instead of just trying to find numbers of students to enroll!!!!
