Columbia Telecommunications rebate ripoff Farmingdale New York

I purchased two sets of Columbia Telecommunications 2-way walkitalki radios from Fry's Electronics. They were on sale with a special rebate that would make them $0 after the rebate.

I paid $25 for each set (2 sets for $50). I sent out my rebate check with all the required information and waited. I was supposed to recieve my rebate 8 weeks later, but I never did. I tried calling the number but no one ever picked up or answered my messages. I emailed them and they told me to fax them my information, so I did but that was that.

I never heard about the fax so I tried emailing them agian and again but no response. I called the number again and left a message about how I needed help on how to use the walkitalkies...surprise surprise, they called me back but unfortunately I wasn't home so they left a message. They told me to either call back or email Barbara@columbiatel.com. I emailed Barbara but barbara never emailed back because it was about the rebate. Obviousley they are trying to avoid all calls and emails reguarding the rebates.

Surely enough I'm not the only victim to their rebate scams. Columbiatel / Columbia Telecommunications has made a fortune through way of fraud and they need to be stopped. I'm thinking of taking legal actions but if and when I do, I will make them pay for my time, energy, headaches, emails, phonecalls, and the rebate for the 2-way FRS walkitalki radios.
