I installed my demo system for Wes because I knew he wanted to be able to practice on it before he was to open approx a MONTH later.

I did this because Wes's father, the one banking the new business, called me to negotiate the price.  We agreed that Wes was fairly competetant with computers and I would only spend a very minimal amount of time for training.

On that note I reduced the price $500 to help them out and because I hadnt received the equipment I had ordered for them by the time I was to leave for an annual hunting trip, I brought my demo unit for them to get used to.

The software I installed was again temporary because we were going to erase all the sales and timecard history before he opened therefore starting from 0.

We typically have either New and refurbished pc's of the same fast speeds, memory, OS, etc... And am always happy to offer both.

The statement of a "new" case with old components is absolutely false.  I specifically ordered that unit for Wes because he told me he was unhappy with the refurbished pc.

The bottom line is I wanted to help Wes succeed and at no time was he without an operating system, especially when he was actually open for business.

He has everything he was promised and at a very good price.

Curt installed a software program called Log Me In. this software allows a user to access a computer from a remote location. After discovering what a scumbag Mr. Hollis is I reconfigered the software and changed passwords. Mr. Hollis is the only person who ever used the previous log in and passwords. Yesterday I received 6 emails notifying me of failed login attempts using the old access! i contacted Mr. Hollis and questioned him about it. He tried to blame his former employee John! What a sorry excuse for a human being.

Curt Hollis is still a scumbag regardless of how he justifies his actions. A reputable company does not get three similar reports like this. He tries to justify his actions with lame excuses. A former employee of his even left because of so many complaints from wronged customers. If you are reading this and are considering a new pos system contact Hampton PC (hamptonpc.net). As far as the computer being "new" I have the instruction manual used to build the damn thing!
