DELL Computers Won't Switch Ownership or Honor Warranty Round Rock, Texas

I bought a pink S1536-150P laptop from a liquidation company.  The company buys computers from companies such as Staples and Walmart.  These are computers which are sold by these retailers to individual consumers and then returned back to the big chain stores.  Instead of inspecting these return items in this case Staples sells the computer to a liquidation company.

I purchased the computer and called up to change the ownership of the computer over to myself.  The person who bought the computer from the original retail had already registered the computer.  I asked Dell to change the ownership to myself since I had bought the computer from the liquidation site.  I was told they could not change the ownership.  So I sent an email to Michael Dell telling him about the situation.  I was contacted by the corporate office and called back the following day at the phone number below.

I called Dell and they refused to change the ownership or honor the warranty of the laptop.  My wife and I both own Dell computers.  My Dell computer is three years old and will need to be replaced soon.  You can bet I will not be buying a Dell when I replace my computer or my wife's!
