Bought a Compaq/HP combined notebook/printer offer with several rebates totaling $250..I completed all required submittals and mailed well within the allotted period..Office Depot denied my submission for the following reason: Limit one rebate per household/business. This, of course, was the only rebate I had ever submitted to Office Depot. When contacted by telephone they stated that it was their error (wonder if they ever made an error in favor of the customer?) and that they would process my check...I still have not received the check and their site still shows that my submission was invalid for the same reason...These people are simply crooks!!! Do not buy from Office Depot if you expect to receive your rebate. I have reported Office Depot to the FTC and will continue to publicize their cheating ways!

The local manager corrected the problem and took care of everything...why didn't I think to go to him in the first place instead of having to hassle with the rebate company (Young America Corp.)?
