I ordered a high end computer with very specific, brand name products to be installed. I received the computer and immediately noticed the power supply was the wrong one. I pulled off the side cover to check out the rest of the components. I found the wrong hard drives, power supply, System RAM, missing system detector, the wrong network card, the wrong card reader, the built in 802.11g wireless was not configured and the wrong cables were installed.
In all it is conservative to say that I was cheated out of more than $600 worth of parts by them installing inferior parts or not installing parts at all that we had agreed to in writing.
When I informed them I hadn't received the proper computer per my order they told me I had now voided the warranty by opening up the case thereby cheating me out of a 3 year warranty.
The computer crashed all of the time and Windows Advanced Diagnostics indicates the RAM they did install or the motherboard are bad which will set me back another $300-600 to repair.
This is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with in my life and a company that should be avoided at all cost.

I am sorry that you had a terrible experience with the computer that you bought from www.starfirepc.com, however I would like to inform you that the company that you made this purchase from is not longer in business.
Starfire, LP, the company that now owns the domain starfirepc.com, is a new company that is founded on the philosophy of providing our customers with quality products, and only the best customer service. That company certainly does seem dishonest, but fortunately they are no longer in business. This situation you discribed is not something that we would ever allow at Starfire, LP.
Once again I am sorry that you had a terrible experience with buying your computer and I hope that you have better luck in the future. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@starfirepc.com.
Best Regards,
Tyler Cloutier
