Shame on Resturant.com for sharing our information with Shopping Essentials.When your purchase from Restaurant .com a screen pops up and ask if you would like to do a survey and get a $10.00 coupon good towards a future purchase.They do tell you all of your information will be given to any companys they think you might be interested in.What they don't tell you is that all information means your card number as well.SHAME ON YOU!!!!! Next thing you know you are ripped off for $14.95 for the next 5 months not including any overcharge fees or overdraft fees,for a membership you did not knowingly join such as Shopping Essentials.Then when you call Shopping Essentials you can't reach anyone the office is closed.It is interesting to note that Shopping Essentials is owned by Virtrue and we had the same thing happen from Resevation Rewards which is charging us $12.00 a month.This is also owned by Virtrue.I did talk with some one from Rewards.They say they will refund, but we'll see.It was only after I told them I know their company is being investagated for fraud,that I will be contacting our bank and local newsmedia,contacting the BBB,and the Attorney General of Wa.State.I will be doing the same with Shopping Essentials.Warning do not do the survey and do not trust Restaurant.com not to share your card information.Also be sure to go over your bank statements with a fine toothcomb.And the most important thing do not give up,report them here at the ripoff report to expose them for being the low down sneek thieves that they both are.Also they are Virtrue is being investagated by the law office of Girard Gibbs LLP.Look them up.I find out about this investagation by doing a google search for Shopping Essentials.
