In June of last year, 2010, i purchased a Dell 15.6 Inspiron 1545 laptop computer from Walmart.com. Upon receiving the laptop it was as expected and came with a 1 yr warranty. After appx. 5 months of use, several keys on the keypad began to stick. Upon contacting Dell they informed me that they would ship out a box to return the laptop in for repairs. In less than 2 wks the laptop returned and everything seemed fine. appx. 4 months later the a/c power cord was failing to power up the laptop. Again Dell was contacted(still under warranty) and again rep. advised that they would send out a box, but he informed me that the whole laptop would need to be sent in also. I questioned him on this, since i was sure it was only the cord that needed replacing. He informed that they have to checkout both components. I reluctently followed the instructions. Less than 2 wks later,  a laptop was returned but it wasn't my laptop that i sent. Furthermore, the jack where the a/c adaptor cord plugs in was offset, the security software was no longer there, this used refurbished laptop had no serial number, and evidence of striation marks were indicated where sn decal was once at. This switched laptop also failed to play dvds in the dvd driver, along with other numerous issues. I subsequently called Dell, knowing they stole my laptop, to see what info that i could gather for possible filing legal action against them. Upon giving the rep. my personal info that he requested, i turned it around around and asked him for my laptop sn, he put me on hold for several minutes before he returned to the phone with the sn. DELL STEALS. DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID.
