this company attempted to charge me for services i never requested via my local phone service as a "third party provider" at 14.95 per month.
i called the customer service number provided (888-300-3724) and was told i signed up for a voice mail service on the internet on June 6, 2008.
the woman i spoke with told me they would cancel my account and gave me a confirmation number, which i will provide if contacted.
i called my local service provider (EMBARQ) to report the incident and the operator explained they had little control over this type of "incident" and flagged my telephone account with a "third party block" as well as filing a claim of disputed charges.
She also recorded the information of the company in question as well as the confirmation number i was given by ESBI.
ESBI told me it would be 1-7 business days before the cancellation took effect, and 1-2 business cycles before i saw thw relection on my monthly phone statement.
