Circut City The Rip-Off Rebate Florence Kentucky

About a year ago my husband and I needed to buy a new computer (desktop), so we saw an add in the Circut City flyer. We went to the store and shopped around and found the one we wanted. It was about $300.00 over our budget, but the sales rep told us that there was a $200.00 rebate. We paid for the computer, even got an a better monitor and a printer, scanner and photo copier. We were very pleased.

The sales rep gave us all the paper work and eveyting need to file for our rebate. There was a time limit, so we sent in everything the following day. WE were told we should receive our rebate check within 6-8 weeks. Well....we are still waiting and it has been almost a year. We have called the store, the rebate center, management, and corporate several times and each time we are told that there must have been a mistake and out check would go right out.

Obviously, it has not. We have had no trouble with the computer, but we really need that rebate. WE would have bought a cheaper model if we were not told of this rebate.

What else can we do. I have copies of all the paperwork and even the rebate info, including time limits, numbers and everything. I copied everything before sending it in for rebate. I even still have the original flyer with the computer we have with the $200.00 mail-in rebate explained there too.
