Ron hired me to design a website for one of his clients as a freelance designer and we agreed on a price for the design. I did the work and was approved, even loved by the client, so I went to Ron Densicola to get paid for the work and was handed 2 Dell PCs from 2002 with PC100 RAM in them and told that those were worth $300 each and that's the best he could do. I obviously turned him down on the improv barter payment and advised him that I needed the agreed upon price. He then told me "Sorry about my luck" and that, again, his dinosaur towers were valued at $300 each. In the end, he did not get the site files and I didn't get paid.
Several days later the client called me asking me if he could have his domain that he paid Ron over $200 for. I explained to him that Iwas simply a designer and domain registration was outside of my job description. Ithen looked up SpartanCleaning.com on Whois.net to find that it is registered to Ron at JR Computer Outlet and reported my findings to Jose, the client and owner of Spartan Cleaning Service. Jose emailed me several days later stating that Ron refused to transfer the domain and he had already ditributed printed material bearing that URL.
Jose, the client has been in contact with me since and I have reduced my price for the design files to relieve the burden Ron placed on him so much that I suffered a loss for doing so. I have made an indirect client happy and gained a direct client for life, but not without sufferage. His domain is now in thehands of a malicious and immature guy and I have much more work to do to alleviate Jose's stress. To top things off, Ron sends out this email (transcripts below) to both me and his client and I warn you now, this dialogue is not for the conservative individual:

This has been a nightmare for me, as the artist...Jose, as the client...and has even ended with Ron being charged with criminal damaging for his childish actions in "keying" my truck. Yes, I just said that a, supposed businessman, keyed my truck. Can't believe it? Neither could I, but I watched him do it and he is facing criminal prosecution for it. All because he wouldn't pay me for a design he liked and approved. What a nightmare...
